    Default South Central 11-25


    Tried Coffeen today, in the kayak. Located a few schools, got 3 shorts and a small bass. Fished about 1 1/2 hours. Got check by a warden. I was in compliance. Only 1 boat on the lake at noon. Fished “hot water arm”. Still trying to figure this lake out after it quit pumping. May try this week. Didn’t get a water temp.

    Try locating brush piles, jig them. Pull a jig over the tops of weeds, along the weedlines. Slip bobber with a jig, in the weeds.


    Question for you - what type of kayak do you have?

    Thank you for the help. 10’ Blue Lifetime. Very basic kayak. The only place I got marks was at Carlock Point around the big white oak.
