Bucky75, Shelbyville is an incredible crappie fishery. Crappie will bite all year, even when there is ice. In my experience, the end of April should bring water temps in the high 50's and the crappie relating to structure in the coves and on points. They wont be right up on the banks yet, but they will be starting to move shallow. Just keep moving and cover as much water as you can until you find what they are relating to and adjust accordingly. I would start in 12' or less and just keep moving shallower until you find them. That lake is so full of crappie, you will eventually find them. Good luck.
