TA plates for 3000 lbs and less went back down to $34
TB plates for 3001+ lbs did not go down and remain at $154.
TB trailer owners still need to bend over and grab ankles.
It was my understanding the fees were going down I just received renewal notice of $154
That is $3 more than for my Silverado truck

I don't drink anything stronger than Pop.
And Pop doesn't care what he drinks
That is what I am thinking too, just need to get some weights for boat, motor and 40 gallons of gas
Have a local grain silo? If so call them, they might let you roll over the scale for free.
For the fuel, figure 6.6#’s per gallon.
Drinkin coffee, missin fish.
I weighed mine several years ago at our local transfer refuse place in Muscatine and they did not charge me anything.
Wait till ya pay for the 40 gallon of ethanol... that state of Chicago plate fee be like chump change. Another problem solved by ol JB

Early to bed, early to rise,
Fish like hell, make up lies.
Not to get into politics out of respect for CDC, but not sure how you can blame "ol JB" for fuel prices.
Drove around Carlyle yesterday on my motorcycle. Was looking at the trailers in the parking lot. There were a variety of plates, including TA, TB, ST, etc. There was a Police truck F150 driving around, not sure but think it was maybe a state police vehicle. So, I flagged him down and asked him and his passenger their thoughts on the different plates, specifically the ST plates. They both agreed they have zero problems with the ST plates and that it was a legal loophole that they have no plans to try to enforce. As long as the weight limits are not exceeded they are good. Just a FYI. I told them that I wanted to ask to avoid any hassles down the road.
skunked again, Banjomarsh thanked you for this post
