    That is great. Iowa did this in the 80's but since has fallen short as our general fund robs DNR blind for projects

    I went and helped build cubes last spring. Lake Shelbyville has been improved dramatically in the last decade via man made structure. They dumped multiple rock piles a year or two ago. All this is making Shelbyville one of the premier fishing lakes in this part of the country, IMHO.

    I believe that the majority of funding for the alliance is from donations. They place the structure in locations approved by the Illinois DNR.
