any report on taylorville,crappie or water color .bought a year pass but only been there once. trying to decide sangchris or taylorville this week for crappie. last trip went to clinton 15 crappie 12 feet deep 2 people all day. used white and purple assasin.

Ichabod, Taylorville has been real muddy. With a jig visibility of around 6 to 8" from surface. Fish can be caught its just alittle tuff and slow. But mind you that was last Wednesday that I got out on Taylorville. Should be clearer, but that lake muddy's up so easy than seems to take forever to clear back up. I had decent luck with brighter color jigs. But like I said it "was" slow. Goodluck

Thanks for info .went to sangchris today 11:00 to 5:00, 7 keepers 3' to 12' water 60 clear ,nice day low wind and sunny. next choice clinton or the ville for sunday or monday.
