    Default IL Boat Registration

So I'm giving my old bass boat its annual spit shine last weekend and I happen to look at my registration sticker on the side of the boat that expired June 2020. I'm usually on top of these things so I immediately stop, go inside and go to the IL website to take care of it. When I log in it shows that I did in fact pay for the renewal last year like I should have. But I do not recall getting the paperwork/boat stickers from them. I know 2020 was screwed up as far as state run services go. Has anyone else not received their stickers---this must have been 14 months ago or so.

Anyway, I paid $5 for replacement stickers. With the fees and stuff, just over $10. I wonder if they will mail them this time? Illinois-I love this effin state...

I've been trying to register our 8' plastic boat, to no avail.
Getting ready to use it anyway.
Think if I printed off the emails I've sent, that multiple people with the state haven't replied too, would get me out of a ticket?? Me either.

I didn’t license this year due to fees. Don’t know how it will affect me next year but this state is crazy on their trailer fees.

I always thought people in Illinois just naturally exaggerated about how bad the state was in handling things such as boat registrations, titles, Foid cards, license plates, OHV registrations ,fishing license, driving license and on and on and on.
But after spending alot of time for the last 5 years in another state, I now realize how truly pathetic Illinois is at handling these affairs.

I bought a used boat in January. The bank sent off the title and registration paperwork when we signed for the loan. I got my registration and sticker 2 weeks ago. Yep, took 7 months and they dated the transfer July 31st.

ST plate is $19 non expiring. Many posts about em on here explaining the requirements. Look at the trailers in ramp parking lots .
