For you guys who dip jigs into the shore brush, do you think that weedless jig heads help or not really? I'm starting to use the same technique but in cattail stands insted of brush.

Google (Crappie Bomb)! I just fished Rend Lake for a week and the Crappie Bombs worked well. If you get snagged, and you will a lot the Crappie Bombs will come loose most of the time. If you get tangled in the brush you will have to go get it or break it.
