Thread: Forbes state park 5-14-21

The kids and me went up to forbes yesterday afternoon, I think the weather was the best fishing day we've had this year. Forbes has a 10 fish over 8 inch limit. We kept a limit and a half. The biggest was 11.5". We were catching them in 3-4 get of water about 18" deep on minnows. Also caught a few on black and chartreuse bait with a spinner.

Like normal minnows fishing we had some green carp and kitty cats mixed in also. It was a good time on the water even though before we got the boat launched my daughter slammed my son's finger in the truck door. I made him a splint using a plastic fork I had in the truck.

Sounds like you and I might be relatives. My fishing trips always involve injury and lost/broken stuff
