Do you go there much ?
I haven't been there in quite a few years although I live 25 minutes away from the lake.
For those interested.

This year more than any other simply because of the C19 crap and travel restrictions.Do you go there much ?
About 45-50 min. for me so it is convenient when I get the itch for fishing.
Now the catching part is another story.
Catching can be tough after the shad hatch around mid June.
Very poor to zeros on reports from others getting off the water on the 8th when I took the FYI sign pic.
Good Luck if you go.
Earlier this spring the walleye fishing was good but since the shad have exploded fishing is poor was hoping to get back there as soon as it cools off. Main reason like others is it is the closest lake to me can go fish for a day and come home with the COVID not wanting to go someplace and stay overnight and most lakes until after labor day are not worth the aggravation. Why exactly to they close the lake it is a waterfowl refuge area or do they allow hunting of waterfowl around the lake. Wish they would keep it open until much later in the year for those of us in this area. Also wish they would install some structure in the lake and maybe a way for us to access to north half of the lake with something other than a low bass boat or John boat. Water is never low enough anymore for a good number of us to get under the bridge
