    Default Sangchris

I drove the hour over to Sangchris yesterday afternoon with plans to bank fish the hot ditch area. I found out the hard way it's not producing electricity right now. Water temp was 39-40 around 2pm. I just spoke with a guy that works there and he said they haven't been running for awhile, and probably won't be because natural gas prices are better, so the company is running those plants. I figured I would let others know to not waste their time.

thank you for that information . I would think at some time they would adjust to that temp. But at that temp I've never done good there.

*Disclaimer* I have very little experience fishing Sangchris, so don't know what all patterns and water Temps are necessary to be successful. I just know from my limited time there that it's usually productive this time of year when other lakes aren't as much do to the warmer water coming in. I'm sure more experienced anglers can catch them there year round regardless of water temperatures.
