Heideke lake has some monster crappie. Gotta find em though. No structure that you might be use to. Humps and drop offs. No brushpiles or timber. Strictly depth changes is where you will find em

I used to fish all the time years ago, but stopped for about 15 Years.
Back Then I knew places to catch Decent Crappies.
Fast forward 15 Years and go to those same places and either I catch little ones or none at all.
Sag Quarries was one of My go to places.
Now the place looks like it isnt maintained very well, and I cant catch one there to save My life.
doesn't matter what I use, Jigs, Minnows, even tried micro crank baits.
At Lemont quarries I do somewhat better, But all seem to be 6 - 7 inch.
Anyone have any Hints, Tips, Etc?
Thanks.
