Thread: Robbed at the ramp today - Crab O

Got to Greenbrier boat ramp this morning and noticed two suspicious individuals snooping around parked truck/boat trailers. They had poles and said they were cat fishin. Launched boat, parked and called sheriff 07:40 to report suspicious activity. Idled around 20 minutes and finally went across lake to fish. Storm blowed up, came back to ramp 12:50, checked my vehicle and found hydraulic floor jack and nice set of jumper cables missing. Another guy lost a tool box. Called sheriff again, deputy came out and made a report. Was a younger male and female both thin. male wht/Hispanic possibly , never saw females face, had orange/grey hoodie. Driving two door dark green compact car with passenger side window broke out and big chrome exhaust tip out the rear. Trunk was open so couldn't see tag.That's a one entrance road to hwy 13, figured deputy would sure nuff spot em...but they got away. Beware and be armed.

I have done this in the past...got to love phones these days.

I do the same thing, but I don't hide it. I've had enough now a days so I'll just walk right up to them, speak with them to feel them out,take pic of them( if bad vibes)and then take pic of the car with licence plate. I want them to know they are being watched and by who. Can always delete them, but if they hit someone else or bad things happen, cops have description and licence as starting point. You can tell who the losers are often just by looking,watching them. Getting bad allover out there and I've been hit at Costco, fishing ,etc--- all in broad daylight.

I hate to hear that. They could have made more money by going and mowing a couple lawns. I'm telling you the odds of them actually getting caught and prosecuted are low and they know it. Guarantee you they had rap sheets already.

Yeah , I wish I'd took some pics of them and contents of my toolbox. They're probably still hitting ramps somewhere watch out.
