Thread: Rend Or kinkaid

If you like fishing in heavy brush for some "Beasts", I suggest Rend. Make sure your rod is
long enough ( suggest 12ft) and "beefy" enough to lift them out of the brush. You can see
my post on Rend including a photo of the fish we caught. They are not in any one brush pile,
so you'll have to keep on the move, but I'm sure you'll find a bunch. Pick a launch that will
be favorable for your day on the water and a cove where you can get out of the wind. Take
plenty of minnows (recommend 3" size) & forget the little ones!

Thanks Dave, I was there a few weeks back and they weren’t in the buck brush yet, heard they’re not on fire there and lots of shorts so being caught now so wasn’t sure if I shoulld try there Saturday or not
