Default 3 days on the ice

3 solid days icefishing from dawn to dark and I am worn out. 8" of ice in central IL. Day 1 was on a pond. Day 2 at Ramsey Lake, day3 at Matoon. Good bite morning and at sundown. Using plastics with crappie nibbles.
    I'll post some pics later

So I've givin ice fishing a try for a couple years, but never really got into many crappie. I usually use tiny ice spoons, but was wondering if there actually to small to tempt crappie into biting. So what are you using weight and size??

Small tungsten jig with plastic and crappie nibble. Also a buck shot rattle spoon with wax worms works great

I'm using small tungsten jigs with 1" bobby garland plastics, but if I throw a crappie nibble on there it covers the hook entirely because it's so small. How are you setting yours up?

My best lure for crappie specifically is a Swedish pimple tipped with a wax worm.

Just cover the hook if a crappie hits it , it will penetrate the nibble
