This is great news, I read about it on facebook last week and hope to help build some of the cube with ya. Let me know when you are going to build some again. Thanks Pat.
All,
As many of you may know, the Lake Shelbyville Fish Habitat Alliance was formed this past year with the mission of improving Lake Shelbyville's fish habitat and overall fishing quality. IDNR, the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Lake Shelbyville Fish Habitat Alliance applied for a competitive grant through the Friends of Reservoirs. Recently, the Alliance was informed that we were successful!! The grant is for $30,000 and will be utilized for structure such as the Shelbyville Cubes we have been building, rock reefs and aquatic plants. We are very excited about the grant and wanted to spread the word!
Thanks,
Lake Shelbyville Fish Habitat Alliance
