Thanks. Looked them up on Google. It says they work just as well if they are frozen, cause you have to hook them with the innards facing out, because that is what draws the fish to them. Also, that they are a super catfish bait. Does anybody sell them alive in Illinois?

Sorry Illinois is currently closed due to poor management. Huge overhead and pork projects. Can't wait to move out of this state

You're sure right about that, but there's gotta be somebody out there selling catalpa worms! I kinds doubt that Illinois even sells a license to sell catalpa worms! Don't tell 'em!!

Well hairy lures you just ruined that. Now that the legislature has heard there is something else to tax look out. It will cost millions to set up and administer the tax and they will receive a few hundred in revenue and call it a win win .

I admire your logic. And you might be right! But if nobody SELLS 'em (according to all the non-answers on C.c) then the still-lifes in Springfield can't tax 'em!

Oh they will tax em alright. Bump the sales tax, bump the business tax, and then bump the personal income tax. Your paying taxes on them suckers alright! One tax the consumer will see directly and the other two will be rolled into the cost of selling them. I thought we had laws about double taxation?
