I was able to get 5 average keepers off of a couple of humps
trolling only.
Not much action but a start.

I'd like to know too. A buddy caught some nice ones at Rend a few days ago but I've heard nothing out of Carlyle

Got a chance to go out this afternoon from 3:30 - 5:30 found whites on the humps @ 10' average size kept 15 with 1 bonus
sauger 22"
Sauger was delicious for supper!
Most every white was on the curley tail jig 18" above the bandit 300
Rember be curtious while trolling & keep only what you will eat!
Good luck!!!

I'm new to the Carlyle area what do they consider the tail water area that Al Crocker mentioned in his report if someone doesn't mind replying or could send me a PM it would be really appreciated thanks!
reelcranky,
I did not read the Crocker report but the only Tail water area I'm aware of would be the area just below the Dam.
I'm not able to fish rocks/shore due to my disability!
With the release rate of 3,400 I'm guessing that catching White Bass & Sauger would be good!
Yesterday (6/21/17)
Got on the lake @ 4:30 PM & fished till the whitecaps blew me off! (6:30 PM)
Water Temps in the low 80's
Water clarity Fair about 12"
Lake level (447.07') is just over 2' over summer pool
Whites are spread out you get one every once in awhile not GREAT!!!
Cleaned 9 about 4 of them Big ones!
Still trolling only & ALL were caught on the curly tail 18" up from the crank!

Thanks Nat your response is appreciated!
I like to use the Apache boat ramp. It's free, and their is alot of sunken stuff in that cove, if your after crappie or "green carp".
Good luck
