    Question just asking

I've had some success using Ned rigs for bass, and I wondered if anyone has tried them for crappies

It's a lure that shouldn't be as good as it is. Basically it's a 1/32 to1/16oz. mushroom head jig with a #6, 4or 2 hook, and a short stubby worm about 2 3/4" long. It catches bass of all sizes faster than red wigglers catch bedding bluegills! Google it.

I've caught a couple of crappie while while fishing the ned rig. All have been good sized.

Were you fishing crappies on purpose or did you catch them by accident? Do you remember what you were using and how you were using it?

The z man soft bait is phenomenal. Stretches many times it's length, lasts for alot of fish. Fish it on the bottom, swim it, it's almost like a swim bait. The only wrong way to fish it is not to use it.

Thanks. I'm catching bunches of bass, but not one crappie, and I'm fishing Lake of Egypt. I'm trying to find a 'ned' way for crappies!
