    Default Ky lake Mat 3rd-7th.

Pulled into Moors resort at 5 pm on the the 7th. Only had about 3 hrs to fish before dark. Found some good drop offs targeting whites spider rigging 10 ft of water 5-7 ft deep with minnows and some flies i tie on litewire hooks. Needlees to say we caught around 65 slabs that day with my my 2 boys catching slabs over 2 lbs. Went back next day and caught my personal best 2.10 lb white on same spot. Never left the area the entire trip. Just moved from shallow to deep and caight an assortment of slabs. We boated close to 200 fish while we were there. Caught alot of 9.5 in fish so the future looks bright for the north side of ky lake.Name: 20170504_134926.jpg

So your kids are catching bigger fish than most of us on this site! WTG just show how we don't measure up to them! LOL

how exciting it must have been for your boys! That's how you do it Dad. That is one heck of a weekend, especially after all the awful weather that blew thru before you got there.

We got there wed evening about 4:30. We fished wed til 7:45. Probably caught 60 fish in 2hr 45min. Son caught a 1.99 and i caught a 2.10. Thursday was a down pour all day but the fish didn't move. We caught 99% whites staging first dropoff from shore. Water came up 2ft from the time we got there til we left.
