    Default Ramsey Lake

Last weekend. Four of us each got our limits. 2.5' ft deep using black/chartruese jig tipped with crappie nibbles. Fish anywhere between 9.25 to 12.5. Caught mostly blacks for some reason. Still lots of 8.75" fish there too. Eggs were really bloody, I think it's gonna be an early spawn. Wish I could post pics from my phone. I used to save the pics from facebook onto my computer then upload, but I deleted my facebook account. Not sure how to get them on here from my phone.......if someone can tell me how I'll put up pics all year for ya.

I am 2 hours north of Ramsey. My home water is only 44°. Nothing on the banks yet.

I will try to guide u on pics (how I do it anyway... no expert)

Start your new thread or reply. Add any text if needed. Touch the icon 3rd from the right, it looks like a photo. It will have a choice for image from computer. Touch it. Touch "Choose file". Navigate to where you keep your photos and touch the one you want. Touch "Upload Files". Done. Sometimes I have to go back to my phone and rotate it the correct way and re-submit it.

I read the lake does not allow gas motors. Can they be on boat and not used like when you go to an restricted horsepower lake and use the electric motors. Also when does campground open. I'm always looking for new lakes.

I have never had an issue on lakes that are trolling motor only. Just don't use the big motor. I have had a CO tell me to use the big motor for loading but never have. Figured the guys was trying to set me up. Don't trust anyone. Especially after I got a written warning for having 3 poles in the water because one pole hanging off the back of the boat had an lure one inch under water when I moved to the back of the boat to retrieve the registration.

I would think you can camp now.....but I do know that they keep some of the camping spots closed to the public this early for some reason. You can be out there with your big motor, just prop it up. I've never turned mine on to load, but I've seen lots of people do it. The game warden told me he didn't mind people using for loading purposes.
