    Default Banner Marsh


    I had a fair day on Banner Marsh East Monday in the high wind. Probably caught 20 black crappies with most being 6 to 8.75 inches but managed to bring home 8 with one being 12 inch and the rest 9 to 10.5 inches. Caught about 6 LMB 10 to 14inch. About half on minners and the bigger crappie and the bass on black/chartreuse tubes. Started out at 6 to 8 FOW but then they moved tight to the brush in just a foot. I could see them come up and slam the jig. It was fun for my first trip of the year. No pics this time, too busy fighting the wind and catching fishes!
