If you need a meal or some for the freezer great but when you fish for a living I doubt that you lack for fresh fish. When we destroy the resource then we complain about the limits applied. just my opinion.
Why does it matter as long as they are not keeping more than their limit?? Spider riggin is my favorite way to fish. Oh don't get me wrong I love vertical jig fishing also but if I can sit on my butt with several poles out and still catch fish then im all about it. Just because people spider rig don't mean they go out and slay them every time. That's not how it always works.

I think it's a flippin joke. I see all of these out of towners coming here and keeping small fish. Keeping a small fish will never allow them to grow into big fish.

    What a joke.

well, i think that anyone that lives more than 3 miles from any lake with fish in it should not be allowed on the water with anything other than a canoe they made themselves and a cane pole they found in the woods

Well look at it this way. When there are 1,000,000 mouths to feed and you cut that # to 750,000 or even 500,000 it gives those mouths that are left a better chance to get bigger faster.

Good lord, give me a break. One thing is for sure, Rend is not hurting for fish or bait fish to feed them. The limit needs to be 10 inches or bigger and no more than 15 fish per person a day. The fish in Rend are not stunned and they have plenty of food.
