Thread: Good day at Clinton Lake

Around a week ago I had a good day bank fishing at Clinton. The conservation police payed me a visit and they were pretty cool! Made a video while I was there.

It my new favorite lake. Just started fishing it last year. My last two trips have neen slow. Water looked calm for you. The trash reminds me of my old neighborhood retention ponds. Two one acre ponds and once every week in summer I would spend 45 min picking up bags of trash you think if they Carry there bottle in full they could take them out when empty. Michigan has the ten cent deposit once when camping when I was young the neighbors had a party and did not want to pick up the cans from night before they told e I could. I got $40 for those cans which was good back then and I was 10.

I see conservation police about every time I'm there on that road. When I go places and don't see them people are loading buckets with whatever they can like ten inch small mouths out of season and other things they should not. It good to see them deter such behavior. I have been checked six times in 20 years. One of which I was hunting, once in Florida,once on trout opening day, one day carp fishing, one time bass fishing, and once when i was 14 by forest preserve police which we went back and forth on why did not need a license. Not many contacts when i fish 180 days a year if for only a few minutes someday
