    Haven't tried the Bubba, but Would never want to be without my electric knife.

    Kinda depends on how good you are with a knife and how sharp it is ......I'm not very good with either one, but have better luck with an electric blade.

    I'm really good with an electric but if I can do the same without a cord, that would be nice too

    I have a Rapala cordless electric. Its just a little on the heavy side but sharp and will run for a solid 45 min on one battery. I like it because I can take it any where.
