    What's a "boat limit" ?
Never heard of this. Something new? Or is this a guide term?

I believe boat limits are utilized in some states, on certain bodies of water. Here is an example for Grenada Lake in Mississippi. https://www.mdwfp.com/fishing-boatin...nada-lake.aspx

Boat limits were put in place on CORP Lakes in Mississippi to keep from boats having a bunch of fishermen in the boat all getting there person limit. So if there was 8 people in the boat they could take 160 fish...

Also On the tagging of the three pole if you are trolling:: I ran into a guy yelling I was illegal fishing with 3 poles on Shelbyville. He yelled for 1/2 hr following me around. Until the CPO pulls up in a boat "That He Called". He see's me trolling 3 poles. Asked me if I was trolling 3 or 4 poles? I told him 3 all morning long. He precedes over to the "yeller" and talks with him, i over hear the conversion and the warden goes over the laws of trolling on Shelbyville. As the warden finishes with him he came back to my boat. He precedes to ask me more question, how many fish i had, etc. One question I did ask was if the 3 rod had to have you name on it... Nope he said. That law is for bank pole, jug fishing, trot lines, etc. But it might change from warden to warden. Your Not In Kansas anymore Toto!

I also had the warden from shelbyville tell me the same thing, that he didn't worry about it. That being said the 3 officers at the fair all told me they must be tagged and it does say it in the regulations

We need to keep this thread going try to catch up to the Mississippi Trolling thread. Surely there are more confusing fishing rules to debate. Example Shrinking fish to under 10" via ice.

Only matters how long they are when the warden measures them not how long they were before
