    Default whites


    Haven't been fishing for a while so yesterday before the fireworks began on Shelbyville, we putted around the lake and I noticed some white bass busting. I decided to go out tonight and give it a try, wow, the wife and I caught 19 in less than an hour and they averaged 1 1/2 pounds with some pushing 2 1/2. Going to give it a go again in the morning and tomorrow evening. I see a fish fry in the near future. Get out and have some fun guys.
    Lets go soak a line. Pat

    You did better than us then. A friend and I went to Carlyle last night and got skunked on the whites. After a few hours we started catfishing and brought home 12 nice ones.

    When you guys were catfishing on Carlyle were you drifting or were you anchoring up.

    the whites shut down on carlyle with all this rain lake jumped over a foot over the weekend cats are coming off the rocks now we did good drifting the flats and points id say whites will be back on very soon hopfully

    I have never tried fishing for whites other than when they bust the surface. What techniques do you guys use at Carlyle. Id love to give it a shot.
