Sorry you had bad weather. Thanks for the report as I was wondering if any were still in the bushes

Just came back from Rend with 32 keepers and four cats. The weather was HORRIFIC!
Too much rain, lightning and wind. Made it hard to fish the bushes. We spent two days
of being chased off the lake by lightning, sitting in the truck waiting for it to clear so
we could get the boat back in the water, and try again. Many thanks to our guide Nick Shafer
from Crappie Predator Guide Service to make sure we came home with fish and for keeping
us safe! We'll be back to try again once the weather clears, an maybe fish some open water.
Minnows were the ticket on this trip. It seemed that the fish did not want any part of jigs
and plastic.

According to our guide, Nick, the spawn is just about over. Fish are beginning to go
deep. If you want to fish the bushes, you best get there in the next few days!
GOOD LUCK, if you do. We launched from Ina on Wednesday and Nason on Thursday.
Nick is the man for sure!
