Well a good day at the lake came to a screeching halt for a buddy and I yesterday when one of the two main beams on my trailer snapped. I was 30 miles from home with a trailer that wouldn't make it 30 ft. I called a welding shop in Pana where I'm from. The guy made it right over with everything needed to get me going again. Very professional high quality work and fast. If anyone should need any work I would highly recommend Tom Fitzpatrick welding (217)823-9502

Sure is nice to have someone you can depend on.
I feel your pain, I had wheel bearing go out on my trailer at Truman lake yesterday and nursed it within 3/4 mile of tire shop but she wouldn't go no farther. I had to pay for a hauler the rest of the way plus whatever the repairs are going to cost!
Dang. Good thing you seen that before you got on the road.
I thought I was the only one that had happened to. 20 years ago first bass boat. Lots of rope ratchet straps and 2/4s and we nursed it home about ten miles with my truck seat suctioned to my backside. Add a little more to the story, I sold that boat and trailer to a guy I worked with that we called Brownie.
I felt terrible that my buddy was stuck hanging around until it got fixed so I suggested that he go into town and get a sandwich and maybe a beer and while he was gone I would clean our fish. So after he had been gone for 10 min the game warden shows up and I had to explain why I was standing there with a cooler of 20 fish (10 per man limit). He was nice about it just wasn't gonna leave til my partner got back. Good tho it didn't happen going down the road cause the other side was real bad too and it's all fixed now and I didn't miss any time on the water thanks for reading guys
