Nice job!
We fished Lake Shelbyville the last two days. We put in around 1:30 at Eagle Creek the first day and with out a surprise we were the only vehicle in the parking lot. Went south for our first run and found the water a lot dirtier than it was when we left the ramp. Water temps 34-37. Didn't even wet a line and headed north. Our first stop we found the fish suspended in 5'-6' of water in 12-15 total depth. Water temps. were in 38.6- 39.7 never hit 40' anywhere we went. The bite was real good the last hour of lite. Second day we put in at Wilborn Creek ramp and again we were the only rig in the lot. We started in the same area as the day before but the bit was slower than the day before so we moved to another area and found them in the same depths. Had to sort through a lot of short fish to get to a 10" and over but if you stay with it you will end up with a nice mess of winter crappie. We only seen one boat each day on the water All our fish were caught on our baby shad baits in red glider and clear pepper glow with a chartreuse head.. I will be updated the fishing report on my website (Lithia Fishing Guide - Lake Shelbyville, IL - Home ) as spring approaches...enjoy
