    Default Lake of Egypt

Going tomorrow. Wanting to go somewhere different. Need guidance, haven't been their in over 20 years. Where to launch? Where to start? Etc. Will be BASS/crappie fishing, whatever I feel like doing.
    Info on temp, clarity?
Have Navionics app on phone, it doesn't show hot water arm, or intake though. Anyone have info on a decent map?
    Drinkin coffee, missin fish.

Try up near hot water end. Don't forget to fish shallow. I think a lot of guys over look shallow water at Egypt this time of year. Shallow banks will Probly yield fish

I'll be there. Find your warmest water which will be where ever the wind is beating into closest to the discharge generally. Water is really clear. Water temp usually between 44-52 degrees. Launch at main marina which is just off lake Egypt road. We find schools of crappie using side scan. Pray for overcast/clouds

Just Illinois fishing license and you have to pay five dollars to launch inside the store/bar. If you start running around watch the no wake areas and there is a 35 mph speed limit . Your not suppose to fish within 10 ft of the private docks. If all else fails i would fish submerged grass beds in 3 to 6 ft of water, the ones close to deep water. With this warm weather they may be up shallow.

The guide in the video on BrushPile Fishing's episode is Sean Hawkins. Sean is known for putting big fish in the boat on Egypt. If anything give him a call and he can point you in the direction to go. Tyler (Birdman) is right it is all about the cloud cover and wind on Egypt as Sean has told me. Good Luck. Sean's number is 1-361-652-9449.
