They stopped the trailer notices as well. Honestly, I don't see a problem with it. I don't believe it's the governments job to remind me to renew my registration. Last I heard, we all wanted less government, this is less government.

Yeah tax the peoples that works wages. Tax inheritance from the people they taxed already. Tax people when they buy something. Sure i forgot plenty of other taxes. But not enough money to send a notice about a boat registration renewal evert three years.

I have to disagree. Sure, less government is good, but if the government is going to require me to do something then I think they need to remind me when it's due, especially if they are going to hold me legally responsible.Originally Posted by Hanr3

When you go and renew by phone they will charge you a 4 dollar convenience fee. Now I don't mind paying a higher fee for my plates or stickers because everything goes up but when they want to charge you for them to do less work . Really now what else can they charge you for ?
