    Default Mill creek again


    Fished Mill creek again this week Wed and Thurs. Me and fishing partner brought home 62 nice fish still all deep 20 ft down on the brush. Used minnows wont bite on anything artificial or artificial tipped with minnows, Wed pink was the color Thurs it was chartreuse. Cold weather moving in now so don't know where they will move next. Only one sub 10 inch fish he was gut hooked so kept him anyway most fish right around 11 inches and all thick. Biggest this trip was 12 3/4. These are my 31 fish partner got the other 31

    Where did you find Pink or Chartruese minnows.?

    What was the water temp. running? Were you fishing the ends of falldowns on main lake?

    62 fish for two people?....I'm assuming that you are talking about crappie?...the daily creel limit on Mill Creek to is only 25

    Water temp was 62 fished end of big brush pile west shore line east of launch got a lot there rest came off of big deadfall next to last branch on west side of main lake before the dam shortly before the no wake marker on the south shore. Out on the very end straight down to 20 ft. And minnows were normal color I was referring to the jig head colors LOL
