I know about the place on the rt 3 and 149 junction but have never stopped there....and there was a place just off 146 I think its on the road or a road close to the one going back to lake Murphysboro. Its been a while since I been there though and can't remember exactly. I haven't used any bait in the last couple years I fished Kinkaid.I don't know them by name sorry.

I don't know which direction you are coming from but Charlie over at Crappie Pro in Carterville will always have bait .

I buy bait in Waterloo before I get to Kinkaid at Dan and Neats bait shop. If you go that way.

Hey Roach, next time try the gas station just south of Red Bud. IMO, much better minnows and more minnows for your buck. Only problem is they open at 5am during week but 6am on weekends.

The place on at the intersection of 149 and route 3 always has minnows, etc. They also have a pretty good selection of tackle there also.

Is that the Amoco station a couple miles out of town south on RTE3 on the right hand side?
