Anyone fish Carlyle Lake?
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone fishes Carlyle lake. We have just moved our camper up here and getting ready to start fishing the main lake. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check Henkels bait shop website, they post a report. Their are a lot of Xmas trees sunk in hazlet cove. If you start at the riprap their, work south to sailboat harbor, watch your graph. A lot of stuff sunk 15-25 yards off the bank, keep marker buoys handy. Several of those coves have stuff sunk in them also.
Have watched bank fisherman throw jigs out, drag back along the bottom, and do good.
peppenhorst has trees in it also. Be careful in their, lots of trees.
fyi, always be mindful of the wind! That lake can get rough if you sneeze !
