Let me add to the list of culprits as I too ran aground by Eagle two weeks ago. It was scary and a pain. Fortunately, it doesn't appear I hurt much but the prop...

thanks to Chips for checking it out on Saturday!!

Stay by the high banks, is what I was told, until you learn the lake. That was pretty good advise. The only time I ran aground was idling and watching my side scan. I guess I should also have been watching my depth.

Good advice. My problem was I couldn't find my fishfinders so no sonar...

It was my first time out since October and I got off lucky (I hope).

Uh oh, that is a tough one to get off of. Would've liked to see them throw up some sand.

I was there last week and thought I was away from the bouys far enough. Wrong I hit a stump and did not know how bad my prop got dinged until I took out at 9th street. Lesson learned! Probably ought to hire Birdman to guide us and keep me out of trouble. Caught a few but would have done better with Birdman. Hope to get back over again in June. Should the walleye be catchable then or will the crappie bite still be good?

Walleye bite will probably be on the down slope by then, but crappie bite should be picking back up!
