I decided to go with sangchris just because I've never been to coffeen and really didn't wanna take my buddy on a search mission. Turned out to be a good call even tho the plant was off we were able to pull a double and talked to a few others that did the same. Seemed that the bigger fish were moving into the hot water ditch we didn't do any good anywhere else. Water temp was 59 at the ramp by the power plant. Had to slide down the ramp on ice. But damn what a great day to be in the water.

If you go to Ramsey in late spring you don't even have to bring a boat. Everyone else has one and you can walk from one boat to the other until you find one you like. If you do bring a boat I would put out extra bumpers.

Caught 37 crappie yesterday at sangchris.1 went 10 inches and the other 36 were between 8 3/4 and 9 7/8.fought good though.it was fun to get out,no quality, but good quantity.
I hit Sangchris last night after work and was able to catch quite a few unders and a few overs as well. Water temps for me were running 57-63 (East landing almost up to Strawkas ramp). Fish were hitting jigs casting and trolling. My first outing since early February. It was great to be on the water with my dad and 2 young sons!

Fished sangchris yesterday as well with shild. We caught between 150-200 and had 40 or so over that 10" mark. Spectacular day. We found a few things that were holding much better fish. Water Temps were 57-59 for us from east ramp to mouth of hot arm.
