Default AAARRGH! A Pirate Ship on the Ville?

Ok so here is the story. I don't normally fish on the lake after Memorial Day in fact Tina and I are most likely on horse back, riding our favorite trails on the week-ends. Well on the trails at Wolf Creek there is a fabulous overlook of lake Shelbyville. I have shown some of you the rail fence across from Eagle Creek boat ramp when I had you out on the Lake. It has a picnic table and that is our usual mid ride break for lunch and a cool drink. We like to set there and talk about the important things in life let the horse cool out and watch the boats go up and down the lake, I usually say something like, man I'm glad I'm not out there in that crazy boat traffic today. Well today I seen something I aint never seen before, we were setting there pondering the big things in Life when down the lake comes a Pirate Ship YEP I said it a Pirate ship with a mast a forward deck an aft deck a mast and flying the Jolly Roger Flag. Now before you go throwing out innuendos and he's drunk acquisitions (the beer was still in the cooler at the trailer)I might be losing my mind and my hearing and hair but I know what I seen. Couldn't get a good picture so if anyone else out there has seen this Pirate Ship on the lake ad has some good pictures of it put some Proof on here so I know I'm still sane!

The truck towing the pirate ship had some motor trouble going thru Mt Zion. Might have been a canon ball hit on starboard side

XXLFISH - Hey Jerry, it could be. I saw some guy in McDonalds in Sullivan with a peg leg and a patch over one eye. I also thought he was dressed kind of weird.

HaHaHa very funny XXLFISH! No that is not the one I witnessed. If I had seen that one on the Ville me and ole nugget would have rode out there and boarded her. Some body has had to have seen it and gotten pictures, we watched several boats slow down as they approached the Pirate Ship. I'm thinking about getting me one and turning it into a floating hamburger and hotdog stand kinda like a floating Hooters!

The ship pictured, was out to sea in a storm last year and sunk. I believe all on board survived. They were moving it before a hurricane hit, but didn't make it. It was a beautiful ship and I took the picture of it in San Juan. It was in a movie.

Jerry your picture is of a replica ship of the HMS Bounty that Captain William Bligh was in command of. You may remember it from the famed Mutiny on the bounty. to learn more about the Original HMS Bounty and the plight of it's crew, and the replica ship shown in Jerrys picture, go to wikipedia they have a very interesting article documenting both ships.
