No need to answer. Found out myself, it's on fire.
I was curious what the recent bite has been like at Shelbyville or area lakes since the cool weather. How much has the water temp dropped as well?
When no one is talking its cause their catching. Just saying.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
Hey guys, planning on making my first trip out to shelbyville on sunday to try for crappie from the bank. I've heard that Bo Woods is the place to be right now as far as bank fishing access, do you all agree? It's a bit of a drive for me and I'd like to focus my efforts in the best spot! If anyone has any suggestions im open to them. Also, any suggestions as far as bait shops in Sullivan? looking to get some minnows on the way
I would by minnows at Howys. He is open at 5:00 in the morning! Sad to say it but someone around here figured it out!!! You can't. Sell very many minnows if you don't open the doors till Eight. And Bo woods has been packed everyday I been up there. That means fish on....normally!
Thanks for the reply crappie wizard. Is Howys in shelbyville? Im coming from champaign and was hoping to stop in sullivan since its on the way, are there any bait shops open at all in sullivan?
Chips, is at the entrance to Bo Woods when you turn to go in the park if that is where you are going. he has anything you will need also.
Thanks Tracker, will report back tomorrow with the results.
