    Default Crappie or ducks

I gave up chasing the crappie I think most went over the spillway. Started duck hunting again, until my 23yr old 1187 broke. Bought a versa max sweet gun. I won't give up on the crappie just yet but mallards and gadwalls are mighty tasty off the smoker. Good luck gents.

Very few crappie went over the spillway. In my younger years, it was all about the duck's "not geese". Now that I'm older, get the crappie's while you can. It's not cold enough to give up on the crappies. Not cold enough for good duck hunting either. Live and learn.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I haven't given up on the crappie , just love shooting ducks. They not greasy , Mmmm put them on the wood smoker oh my . It's only a 50 acre lake that was 4 feet above pool. Structure was washed out fish washed out , it happened 4 yrs ago too. To bad we had plenty over 11" up to 17 " . Then again maybe I caught them all lol , not likely
