    Default Fishing gloves

OK. What is everyone's best fishing glove in cold weather? They should keep you dry, warm and be sensitive to feel a "thump". Fingerless? Hand warmers? Rubber?
A person should learn something new every day!

I have a pair of cabelas guogewear fingerless gloves and I love 'em. They're not waterproof but my hands are dry. They're made from a fabric that a hook doesn't bury into every time you turn around too.

I just keep several pairs of cheap cotton gloves in the boat. Cheap and work great.

I never could understand fingerless gloves, all that gets could on me are my fingers and toes.

I lok the nitrile coated palm and fingers, they give you protection from cold and I drop a hand warmer in for extra. Work great for cleaning fish too. You can wash them out and you can even tie you're line. I wouldn't recommend the vinyl coated they are to slick

Amen to that Jeff - I buy several pair of the Brown Jersey Gloves with the rubber dots on them - take them into the boat and when one pair gets wet from "who knows what" I throw them on the floor and grab another pair. After several washings, they shrink and the wife and kids get to use them. Quite a deal for less than 1.99 a pair and you can get them way cheaper if you buy them in bulk.

Another one to consider is the Kinko Frost Breaker Foam gloves - found them at the farm store - easy on - easy off and you can handle a ton of fish before they get saturated.

    Best of luck!!!

Wool gloves and if it is extremely cold put a pair of brown jerseys on first, then a hand warmer then the wool glove on top. You will get a hook caught now and then, but it pulls right out. Rick
