you want to catch some fish go 30 to 40 min down the road good luck
My guess is he's talkin bout rend lake.
Drinkin coffee, missin fish.
Ah yes. Rend Lake. We did real well there this past spring and summer. Carlyle is just a bit closer. I was there a few weeks ago and everyone was saying it should start heating up soon.
Mac
Yeah I'm sorry rend lake they always saying Carlyle going to heat up rend kinkaid coffin and Lou Yeager much better lakes
During the 80's and early 90's I would have laughed at you for that statement. Now days you are spot on unfortunately. Didn't even crappie fish Carlyle this year. Did very good last year at Carlyle, but one of the above mentioned lakes had me busy this year. The white bass fishing was outstanding on Carlyle this summer with large fish, not the minnows I see come out of the lakes north and south of it.
Is there much to trollin for them whites. Tried it for the first time up by the silos this summer along with 1100 other boats....caught a few nice ones but didnt tear em up. Felt i just wasnt doin something right. Im about an hour south of carlyle but id like to get up there a few more times next year for them whites
Not too much to it just find those humps and small drop off and you'll do fine
