Default Best put in at Shelbyville for solo trip?

    Hey guys,

Plannin on hitting Shelby on Saturday. I don't fish by myself that often, so was wondering what would be a good put in for loading and unloading by myself? I'm hoping for one that isn't terribly busy so I don't feel like I have to rush to get out of people's way, and where the parking isn't a mile away. Also would need some dirt or sand to run up on, or decent docks. I don't mind if it's off the beaten path or even a long run on the water.

So yeah...kind of a specific list. Lol. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You might consider launching at the Coal Shaft area. Parking lot is right near the water and you would have a sandy beach to run your boat upon. No launching fees either! Road to launching is on the southwest side of the bridge.

Lithia is a great spot, good dock, not many people use it right now and is out of the wind for the most part. I've never had any problem there.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
