Little River has been under going a renovation the last two years. The gills are supposed to be 7 inches and the walleyes 6 to 9 inches. Should be good fishing again in a couple of years.

Once this water warms up a tiny bit more and maybe even come down a little there should be some good crappie fishing on the river.

I live down by Kewanee. I wondered if the river was safe to get on with the flooding we have down this way. Where do you launch your boat from on the Mississippi?

I live in Moline, so I'm right here with you.

Among the other areas you mentioned, don't sleep on the LeClaire Canal. There are some really nice Crappie back in there.

It's pretty safe right now and actually about just right. The other day when I was out I launched out of rock creek just south of Clinton.

Thanks! I plan on getting in the LeClaire Canal when the water is back to the norm.
