Anyone have information on Lake Lou Yeager in Litchfield? I've been thinking about going there as it's a short distance for day trips?

Drove through the park last weekend thinking.........any crappies. Hoping to see more info on this post. Pretty little lake. Any info on Hillsboro lakes!
Hillsboro lakes have lots of small crappie. You can load up on 7 to 9 inch fish. Rarely catch any over 10. I fished Glenn shoals today with no luck. It seems like we are about 3 weeks away from good crappie there. Water temp was 55 to 57
Fished Lou Yeager Thursday caught several fish between 8 and 11". They were 4 to 5' deep in 17' of water. Water temp was about 49 on south end and 52 on north end.
Not many big fish in Lou but plenty of eaters 9-10". Try main lake lay downs and docks. You will have to weed through small ones but you can definitely get a good mess. No limit on # of fish.
I went up to Yeager on Friday. Including myself only 4 boats on water and nobody was catching anything. Wind was terrible, but nice lake. I will be going back once the weather allows.
I plan on hitting up the Lou this weekend, I will let ya know how I do. Hey JCD, any word yet on a date for your Spring Tourney?
with all this rain coming in, it may be a little chocolatie.
