Rend 2/17/2013
1st time to Rend in about 3 months. Did really well. Lots of fish right at 10". Kept my limit of overs and unders. Best two fish were 13.5" These are the two biggest I have boated on Rend Lake. My previous best on Rend was 13" and I only caught one that size. I was using a hand tied jig from my dad and I only had three of them. The problem was they fell apart after about 30 fish. Of course I called my dad and told him to send me more. Pink and Chartreuse with a red feather tail was the ticket.
Fish were mostly at 13' down in 14' of water.

Was the lake pretty rough yesterday? We had a good amount of wind in my area, ive been headn to rend on the weeknds to try and learn the lake, been told to stay away when the wind starts picking up... Thanks
