    Default The morning hunt

A flock landed in my dekes but I wasn't out there. I went out and jumped them and called these two back in.

    Is that your retriever?
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Picking one of those geese by hand will make you talk to the Lord and drink copious amounts of adult beverages!!! Everyone should have that experience at least once! We usually breast our geese. Some will also save the legs, but like turkey legs they are full of leaders, then boil with spices, remove the bone/leaders and add noodles....pretty good chew'n! There are numerous recipes on flocknockers.com................just look in the "Recipes for waterfowl" section. Goose pastrami and Deli-corned goose are two of my favorites.
