    Default Mississippi river 7/30/12

Got out on pool 13 yesterday with an uncle and another friend and managed to catch a few crappies. Ended up with 26 crappies and 4 gills. Didnt get any big fish with the biggest being around 10 1/2in but most ranging from 9in to 10in. Started out using 1 1/2in tubes but ended up finding out they wanted something smaller and caught them all on 1in tubes. Fished in trees 3-6ft down in anywhere from 8-12ft of water with the deeper trees being a little better. Sure was hot out and for some reason it seemed all the good trees were in direct sunlight all day!!!

    Nice mess! Awesome job!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
