Little Grassy Report
Went out on the 25th, and 27th from 7-noon both days. Had to do a lot of searching and differing techniques but managed 10 nice crappies both days...Nothing huge but all fish were between 10 and 12.5. Caught most fish in standing timber 18-20 ft down using slip bobbers and minnows. Got a few bonus bass and catfish,all CPR. It seemed like you had to be on the windy side of the lake to get bit. I also found some BIG gills up shallow in a small shady cove. Had some fun on the flyrod before the little ones moved in.

Thanks for the info as well. I have yet to fish Little Grassy this year, but I need to get my two boys over there. It's alot of fun when you get into the big gills and they are biting fast and furious. We had some good trips to Little Grassy and Devil's Kitchen for big gills over the past few years even in the heat of summer.

Glad to post reports. I'll be headed tomorrow either back to L.G. or Devils Kitchen. Haven't been to D.K. before but I hear there are some Bullgills in there. Might be fun since it'll be a little warm to go bassin'
