I use a MinnKota 330D and its easy to hook up and works great.
The set up I have in my boat is a 12v cranking battery and a 24v trolling motor system. I currently do not have any type of on board charging system. I'm planning on installing a 3 bank on board charger. I'm looking for opinions on what brand would be good to use and are they easy to install? Thanks

As "G" says the MinnKotas are good. My brother uses one on his boat.
Another option is a Dual Pro. I use one on my boat and love it as well.
I recently installed a Minnkota 315D on my boat and really like it, seems to be a really well built unit. I bought it at Starmarine depot.com and I think I paid about $140

I use the MK220D for the tm batts and Schumacher for the start batt. Love em.
I have a dual pro easy installation and got it on ebay
can't catch'em at home
I have a Dual Pro three bank charger that I've had about six years now and I love it. All brands of chargers should be straight forward and easy to connect.
Dual Pro 8 here. I put it up front next to my trolling battery, then bought a cheap 12 ga 25 foot extension cord and spliced it into the 2nd output of the charger and ran it back to my starting battery. Works great! I was too cheap to shell out for the extension that they were willing to sell me for a nominal fee, hence the extension cord.
MinnKota 3 bank, 10 amp. Has worked flawlessly for almost 11 years!
