I was at the cleaning station and a guy had a 20" one, I heard a few guys were getting a few, but not on a regular basis. But might have a little better luck with this warm weather coming in.
Anyone know how the Walleye are doing on Lake Shelbyville? Headin' home this week, Dad's been sackin' up about 5 limits a week on Crappie and wouldn't mind knowin' how Walleye are right now!!
All help is asked!
Thanks, Duck_Hunter

i've found the same as cory. had couple short ones last week fishing for whites. but thet just haven't started showing up in any numbers in the places i found them in the past. saw one 18in at the 9th st ramp last week but no one is finding many yet. should get better as the month goes on.
I sure would like to catch some also but don't know a thing about fishing for them. I always see guys fishing for them them and when they are biting there seams to be boats piled up on each other.
yes . usually there are a ton of boats at 3, 5 or 6 flats, but the points, both main lake and secondary, hold a lot of walleye too, and there are a lot of them to fish.
Does anybody know if they are catching walleye's at the dam ?
Nothing at the dam to speak of, (NO WATER)
I caught 3 walleyes (12,15,n 16 inch) yesterday while trying to catch crappie in the tournament.
1 small 10"er crappie fishing yestrerday. If I were to walleye fish Shelby this time of year, I would be fan casting the shallow points and shorelines near them with Shad Raps and Lindy Shadling crankbaits. Pretty slow retrieve, just bumping the bottom. The windier, the better!
